The 127 Two Phase Lock-in Amplifier Accessory, when used with any current P.A.R. Lock-in Amplifier, provides synchronous detection, integration and simultaneous readout of the in-phase and quadrature components of a coherent signal. Completely self-contained, it requires only the signal channel output and the four-pole reference signals supplied by the associated lock-in. Special phase detector circuitry is used to drive the quadrature channel demodulator assuring a 90? phase shift from the in-phase channel demodulator within 0.2? in the mid-frequency range. While maintaining specified quadrature relationship, both channels can be simultaneously shifted in phase, relative to the reference signal, over a 360? range.
