The Velonex Model 587 is a self-contained voltage and surge
generator which provides all three waveforms specified by the
ANSIIIEEE Standard 062.41-1980 (formerly IEEE STD 587-1980)
and IEC 664-1980 for surge voltage testing . (See Note 1 for explanation
